Jesse Welles World is a WordPress site for an independent artist that showcases songs, lyrics, annotations, embedded videos, guitar chords/tabs, and live show history. It uses a custom theme with post types for songs, shows, and artists, and taxonomies for tours and a hierarchical location (country → state → city → venue). Setlist data drives stats (song counts, live debuts, rarities, tour standouts) and custom blocks such as the tour timeline, show list, and show stats. The front end is built with block-based layouts, ACF for setlists and metadata, and custom PHP/JS for chords, masonry layouts, and social clients. The theme supports integrations with various social platforms, encourages lyric sharing from highlighted text, syncs songs played from setlist.fm, and an admin tool for venue images via Wikimedia Commons.
